I painted this very fast, moving the colours around with a palette knife. I wanted to depict the violence in colour of a sunset. The light changes minute to minute and this is mean to be the point when the sun  sets over the horizon, with reflections and just a hint of the ships. I like this style because it screams action, light, movement and atmosphere. This was bought from an exhibition in Tenbury Wells.
